Awesome food and service! This place is a "go to" for tasty and healthy meals for me and my family. Can't beat the Peruvian spices and flavors they use!

Had to go to charlotte for a weekend, happy we found this place. Food was fresh, with a welcoming ambiance. I want to say her name was Laura, who took our order. She was extremely helpful and sweet.

9 years ago was the first time I've ever been to a viva chicken, and almost a decade later, ITS STILL 5 STARS. I've ordered catering from this location multiple times, they have been very accommodating for my 70 people I order for. Ambiance is still casual, high energy. My favorite item to order is: Quinoa stuffed avocado with pulled chicken

Food is always fresh! They have one of the best tres leches I have ever had. Counter service order but plants of seating.

This is on our standard rotation for well-priced, delicious, quick, filling, healthy meals when we really don't want to cook. It's not an "out of this world" meal that changes my life, but it is great cooking, with great flavor. It is food that I would be happy to eat regularly as takeout.

Let me tell you, Davidson might be charming, but for Peruvian perfection, you gotta head a hair south to the Huntersville Viva Chicken. It's a quick trip, but the taste of their chicken? Worth every minute. I snagged a half bird, and let me tell you, it was a revelation. Perfectly cooked, with that smoky char from the rotisserie that just makes your mouth happy. Then came the sides: fluffy Peruvian rice and sweet, caramelized plantains - a textural dream team. But the real stars of the show? The sauces. Three glorious options, each a winner in its own right. I'm guessing the aji amarillo was the citrusy yellow one, the aji huacatay the creamy green with that herbal kick, and the rocoto - well, that fiery red number had me reaching for my Inca Kola. Speaking of Inca Kola - what a discovery! This golden nectar, like bubblegum and sunshine in a bottle, somehow magically cut through the richness of the chicken and brought everything together. Trust me, you gotta try it. Viva Chicken? More like Viva Delicious. If you're anywhere near Huntersville and have a hankering for authentic Peruvian, this spot is a hidden gem. You won't regret the drive.

This place was recommended by a local and it was delicious. Parking is across the street or it looks like they do a lot of to go and door dash business. Chicken Verde tacos are amazing. Plantains were great. Service was friendly.
